Wonderful atmosphere lots of different cuts and types of meets. The lady that helped me was also wonderful and very helpful. She helped me to pick the perfect brisket tip and cut it almost specifically as I had asked for at around $60 and ended up hitting a $61 mark. The cuts of me are also very thick unlike you would find at somewhere like Wegmans where it's three times thinner for the flat of a brisket. I am very happy with the services there and will go back again. Also was very lucky that it was $2 off per pound at the time and Skip's has special sales as well so it's worth checking out.

Skip's on the Ridge has great meat at a great price! They also have sea food and some basic grocery items to grab while picking up your meat items. Love their selection of sauces too! Their cases are full of precut good value meats and their homemade sausages along with smoked meats. Love their pork chops and pork steaks. We often have custom meat cut to our desired thickness that is hand selected by their butchers. Inparticular, I think they have the best pork in Rochester by far at amazing prices!!! Beef steaks too are great! Heat up that grill!! Skip's on the Ridge is a very popular place, so you may need to take a number, but don't worry, they will get to you quickly as the have lots of knowledgeable staff to help you select just the right meat and seafood! I highly recommend Skip's on the Ridge!!! Don't buy expensive and inferior meat from that big grocery chain in Rochester. Make a quick trip to Skips on the Ridge!

The meat at Skip's is always excellent. Prices are average. There are always a million people working, but I've never been able to be served in a timely manner. I waited for 47 minutes yesterday to get some fish. There has got to be a better system.

I lived in Rochester most of my life and never stepped foot into skips until visiting this weekend. I have been missing out. We were making dinner for the family and needed lots of chicken. We got 5 lbs of chicken breast, which they trimmed and cubed, for $17. They also have steaks, sausage, cold cuts, seafood, pasta salads, and so much more. We have been telling all the family about this little gem and will be back next time we visit.
